So today i finished Fate/Zero, apart from mr penis making an appearance as a child (i dropped Fate-Stay/Night because of that guy. Worst protagonist i've ever seen! and his participation in the grail war didn't even make sense, since he wasn't even 10 when the war in fate/zero ended whereas the grail wars only happen once every 60 years!) the anime was perfect. I've never seen anything like it. How could someone write a story like that? the way so many of the characters had to suffer... It was agonizing to see, and since i know the writer feels the emotion tenfold compared to the reader, he must have either had no feelings at all for the characters, or cried the whole time he wrote the story. Third option i guess is to detach emotion from yourself while you write it, i could do that but do i want to? Nah, i don't think i want to do that.

I called my father, seems like i'll get a pullup bar tomorrow :) the last piece of the puzzle i need to remove all the excuses i've got for not doing bodyweight workouts @ home.

I finished Earth tree today, i thought i should have certain effects for certain types of magic. For example all of the earth magic involves using physical objects. So i could make it deal extra physical damage. The only physical damage spells. All of the fire spells involve fire, burn damage over time bonus to all of them. Air magic tends to be on a large scale (such as wind, or fumes) so AoE to all of the spells. Water is an odd one, it has the physical ice, Poison and blood manipulation and also just pressurized water or high quantities of water (like tsunamis and waterfalls). The only thing they have in common is that they're all water... so. Reduced mana cost would work out i guess. Electric magic has a stun chance of course, but it's downside is that it cannot affect flying opponents, it will affect you if you use it underwater and it will be possible to resist entirely with just a bit of rubber on your boots. So i guess as a bonus, crits will also knockback your opponents and because it's so easy to resist i guess it would be fair to give it bonus damage. That leaves magic which is easy, it's harder to resist and therefore deals more damage but it consumes more mana. The bonus of mental magic is that it's simply hardest to resist.

Decent right? Oh yeah, and given the scale of some of the spells (like tsunami...) what makes the magic magic is that it only affects those you want it to affect, i.e. unless your spell backfires (which god level spells obviously can't since you are skilled enough so that it's impossible) no spells can harm you or anyone friendly to you. They also can't permanently damage environment unless that was your initial goal (they can only solely affect what you've designated as your opponent) so say if you smash a magical asteroid into your foes you will not leave a crater. And if you create a Ice Mass Grave (that is encase your foes in a glacier) you will leave a glacier that will melt in a few years (not permanent :D).

Next after fate/zero is ika musume, i should've seen this ages ago, but oh well. Better late than ever, i really love good comedy like this, it's a damn shame i don't know much about comedy (Write what you know right?) i couldn't write a good one if my life depended on it i think. I'm bad enough at making jokes up to begin with, the only things that i know, that i really know are Despair, Fear, Dread, (Mental)Torment, Wrath and self-pity. Everything else i've either had too little experiences, don't understand (comedy  is one of these things i don't understand but can still enjoy) or actually artificially created myself. The only emotions i know are real are these 4. The only ones i can rely on and of course, the only ones i can effectively write about, sadly i'd love to write a good love story. Well i guess i can do better than Twilight ;)

I hate how slowly i'm progressing with this magic shit though, naming 1 spell tree per day is super slow D: but slow is better than nothing. As i've said so many times there's no rush, not yet. Well, i shouldn't depend on that since my life may very well depend on this project of mine in the not so distant future, it's very possible that one year from now i will lose all my cash income, and it's possible that even sooner than that i may have to move out, paying more rent than i could possibly handle with what i'm getting paid... Besides, i'm in no way ready to move into my own apartment, i don't even have a drivers licenese, i'm too lazy to get a fucking drivers license... But that might be for the best, i'm not exactly a good driver :I without booze i'm dangerous. If i were to drive drunk there'd be an over 90% chance of me getting in an accident. So maybe it's better for everyone that i don't have a drivers license!

Yeah, i'll stick with that excuse :) i'll just have someone drive for me.

Anyways, i should try to work faster, now that i think of it i could start working on world lore, cities in particular since i need that for any story i'll write.
